Summer King is the founder and lead instructor of Mosaic Minds Art Academy, where she has spent years inspiring students to discover their creativity, develop confidence, and build strong artistic foundations. A lifelong artist with a passion for both fine art and education, Summer believes that every student has the potential to grow into a skilled and confident creator when given the right guidance and encouragement.

Summer studied Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Atlanta before earning her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from American InterContinental University. Her education, combined with years of professional experience as a working artist, has shaped a teaching philosophy that blends technical excellence with creative exploration. Students learn not only how to create beautiful artwork but also how to think critically, solve creative problems, and develop their own artistic voice.

Since founding Mosaic Minds Art Academy in 2017, Summer has helped hundreds of students of all ages develop their artistic abilities, with many continuing on to specialized visual arts high schools, college art programs, and creative careers. She has successfully guided dozens of students through the competitive portfolio admissions process, helping them prepare professional portfolios, artist statements, and interview skills for schools such as SCAD, DeKalb School of the Arts, and other respected visual arts programs.

As an award-winning artist and educator, Summer is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where students feel challenged, encouraged, and inspired. Her mission extends beyond teaching art—she is committed to helping young artists build confidence, discover their purpose, and use creativity as a tool to make a meaningful impact on the world.
